At a time when production and distribution of visual art has never been greater, it is easy to issue lots of identical art. As a gallerist you must continually ask yourself, if the individual artist makes any great difference?

Does the work of art cost disturbance -in a new, clever and mind opening way?

These questions have first priority at Gallery Poulsen. Another priority is to facilitate the meeting between artists. Particularly among the galleries foreign and danish artists. An example of such a productive meeting is the cooperation with danish / french artist Colonel and The Yes Men (US). It also shows that the gallery can accommodate performance art.

The gallery has a predilection for photography, although neither painting, graphic, performance, video or sculptural art will in any way be overlooked or forgotten.

Whichever form is chosen in genre or media - the art in Gallery Poulsen has to make a difference.

There is only need for art that interfers and broaden one's horizon.
