Taking Miami by storm!

Despite this being our third time participating in Pulse Miami Beach, making us feel right at home, we could not have prepared for just how recklessly intense and absolutely fantastic this weekend would turn out to be! We can without hesitation declare that this has hands down been the ultimately best fair ever!

We take nothing for granted and had thus assembled a phenomenally good team of artists, ensuring we would be surrounded by a solid and wide array of extraordinary masterpieces. With such a strong hand, we kicked in the door, toppled everything and everyone with ferocious energy, and created a sensation!

One breathtakingly grandiose work after the other made our booth an absolute showstopper! Impeccable technique and somber tales magnetized each and everyone, who came by. Possessing the technical skills of an almost bygone classical era, it is no wonder that our artists are represented in major museums and collections worldwide.

Classical as well as critical, their sharp political perspectives turned the crowd crazy with adoration, creating quite the frenzy, sending them straight into the Poulsen Panic Room, where they received a taste of the unique Poulsen spirit: Charisma, irascible ambition and spotless talent!

We are still quite in awe and utterly grateful for the massive attention each of our artists received at the fair. We are certainly returning home with a huge smile on our faces.

Thank you, Miami. We cannot wait to take you on again in 2017!

Embarking on a brand new adventure!

We are not only saying goodbye to 2016, but also to our gallery space that has been the home of a long line of incredible and wonderful exhibitions. In 2017, we will be turning a page in the Poulsen chronicle and move into a great new space in the Brown Meatpacking District of Copenhagen.

The gallery will be closed in January and February due to construction, but we are still open on our social media platform in this period of time. So stay tuned, because we have plenty of new tricks up our sleeves while we wait for the new gallery.

Mark your calendars: Friday March 17th we invite you to celebrate with us the opening of our fantastic beautifully renovated gallery in Staldgade 30A in the Brown Meatpacking District of Copenhagen. We inaugurate the new gallery with a spectacular solo show by none other than Jean-Pierre Roy!

In the meantime, the gallery is open online. Contact [email protected] or +45 33 33 93 96 / +45 40 15 55 88

We are facing a very busy spring and can already predict 2017 to be a year filled with adventure. Internationally as well as locally. For next year's Armory Week, we have teamed up with Art on Paper – a thriving young art fair that entered Armory Week three years ago. As an ambitious and forceful addition to Armory, Art on Paper differs with its unique focus on works on paper and has rapidly established itself as an important platform for the arts.

We could not be more thrilled to have the unique opportunity to show off this particular side of our brilliantly diverse artists. Several of them are highly acclaimed for this distinct art form; Aaron Johnson and Debra Hampton are both represented in MOMA’s permanent collection of art on paper, William Powhida will have his first solo museum show at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Connecticut in March 2017, Alfred Steiner is widely known for his remarkable flamboyant watercolor characters and Barnaby Whitfield never ceases to amaze with his hauntingly beautiful pastel portraits. Thus, we predict this to be just the right fair for our artists working on paper to truly unfold their skills.

Behind Art on Paper is Art Market Productions, who also present Texas Contemporary, which was such a phenomenally good experience for us, when we took on Houston in the fall. We are continuing the good streak and cannot wait to conquer a new part of New York.

With us we have two handfuls of well-known masters, such as Christian Rex van Minnen, Jean-Pierre Roy, Mi Ju, Debra Hampton, Alfred Steiner, Aaron Johnson, William Powhida, Mu Pan, Nicola Verlato, John Jacobsmeyer and a much anticipated revisit by Barnaby Whitfield - Stay tuned!

Jean-Pierre Roy is an artistic heavyweight to say the least and never fails to leave the art world completely mindblown.
