Hello & Goodbye
On this spring afternoon, we take the opportunity to say goodbye and good luck to our trusted employee Julie Salling Lind, who is off to capture new territories at Sydhavn Theatre.
We also have the immense pleasure of introducing our new Gallery Coordinator, Stine Sachse. Stine has a background in the museum world and has worked in Paris, Berlin and latest Norway where she was the concept creator at Vingen under the Astrup Fearnley Museum in Oslo. We bid her a warm welcome and invite you to come meet her at the Finissage.
Upcoming show: "Four Eyes" by Tom Sanford & Alfred Steiner
May 4 - June 1
It is with great pleasure that we conclude the spring season by presenting Tom Sanford and Alfred Steiner - two of the gallery’s absolute pioneers, being among the first in our now well-known roster of American masters. Therefore, we look immensely forward to presenting them side by side for the very first time.
This upcoming joint show will be the third solo show for both Sanford and Steiner. Their common denominators are their visual narrative, painting tales of famous and infamous iconic characters, current political issues as well as a web of references that reflect the complexity of the world.
Stay tuned for more info coming very soon on this sensational upcoming event!

On this evening, we will fill your glasses and give you a tour of the exhibitions. So, we hope to see you for a tremendous evening on the old cobblestone corner of Staldgade, where we will serve up a crisp slice of New York.
Keep a firm eye on our channels as we will keep you updated on more news about our activities during Art Week.
Upcoming Show: Monica Cook Solo
June 15 - July 13
Buckle up for Monica Cook’s first solo exhibition at Gallery Poulsen. The exhibition includes recent sculptures and paintings which continues the artist’s exploration of transforming natural and recognizable objects into something unfamiliar and almost rejective.
We had the pleasure of showing Monica Cook in 2015 alongside Jean-Pierre Roy in the double exhibition ‘Knock the Wind’ and we’re very excited to launch Cook’s long awaited solo exhibition.
Currently on view at The SCAD Museum of Art in Savannah, Georgia with the exhibition ‘Liquid Vessels’ Cook also investigates form and deformity creating intricate sculptures which appear strangely familiar and alien at the same time.
